Due to the huge amount of the cases and importance of family, a new facility is built to handle family matters and will start working from October 12,2016. This court is allocated only for family matter including divorce, legal separation, child custody, visitation, support, and property division.
Dubai government is planning to separate the labor court from the main court in future.
A new procedure has been implemented for issuance of the divorce decree,
If there is a judgement or court order for the separation then one of the party must attend the court – Muslim personal status section with their witnesses in order to receive their divorce decree.
But however, if you are non Muslim and you already have your divorce judgment in your hand but still aren’t able to have divorce degree from UAE Shariaa court, the original judgment can be dully attested and used in your home country.
If any crime happen by any employee of UAE government organization, you can not file your case unless you submit your petition to the ruler’s court for acceptance of your claim. Upon receiving of the confirmation of the ruler’s court you may thereafter file your matter before the court of adjudication.
The receipt of approval of the ruler’s court will strengthen your case before the court.
